Terms of service

Last updated: July 9, 2026

Draft — for review by your solicitor before launch.

1. The agreement

These terms are a contract between you (the business creating an account) and Just Agents (“we”, “us”) governing your use of justagents.co and the agent services. By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your business and confirm you are authorised to do so. The service is for business use, not consumers.

2. The service

Just Agents provides configurable AI agents that perform business tasks — answering email, phone calls, and website chat, scheduling, content, review management, invoice reminders, and document review — grounded in a knowledge base built from content you provide. Agents operate in Approve mode (output waits for your approval) or Autopilot (output is sent automatically). You choose the mode per agent, and you are responsible for that choice.

3. Plans, trials, and billing

  • Plans, included agents, task allowances, and voice minutes are described on the pricing page. A task is one completed agent action.
  • The 30-day free trial requires no card; when it ends, agents pause until a payment method is added. We do not auto-charge at trial end.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly or annually until cancelled. Cancel any time from the billing portal; paid periods run to their end and fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
  • Voice minutes beyond your plan allowance are metered at the published per-minute rate and billed in arrears.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice, effective from your next renewal.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of everything you provide (website content, documents, FAQs) and everything your agents produce for you. You grant us the licence needed to host and process that content to run the service. You are responsible for:

  • having the right to use the content you upload and the channels you connect (email accounts, phone numbers, social profiles);
  • the accuracy of your Business Brain — agents answer from what you give them;
  • complying with laws that apply to your use: consumer protection, marketing and anti-spam rules (e.g. CAN-SPAM, PECR), call-recording consent, and industry rules;
  • reviewing agent output appropriately, especially before enabling Autopilot.

5. AI output — important

Agent output is generated by AI and can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated despite our guardrails. It is provided for your review and use at your discretion. In particular: Lex’s document summaries are not legal advice, Otto’s reminders are not debt-collection or financial advice, and no agent output is professional advice of any kind. You remain responsible for business decisions made on the back of agent output and for everything sent on your behalf while Autopilot is enabled.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

  • send spam or unsolicited communications in breach of applicable law;
  • deceive people about who they are talking to — agents identify as AI when asked, and you must not configure them otherwise;
  • process special-category data (health, biometrics) without appropriate safeguards and legal basis;
  • break the law, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to breach, probe, or overload the platform;
  • resell the service or use it to build a competing product.

We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other customers at risk, with notice where practicable.

7. Data protection

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and the DPA applies where we process personal data on your behalf. We do not use your content to train AI models.

8. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without uptime guarantees on self-serve plans. We may improve or change features over time; if a change materially reduces the service you pay for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of prepaid, unused fees.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses (including lost profits or lost business); our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid us in that period; and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (such as fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence). You will indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content or your breach of the acceptable-use rules.

10. Termination

You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. We can terminate for material breach that is not cured within 14 days of notice, or immediately for serious acceptable-use violations. After termination, you have 30 days to export your data before deletion per the privacy policy.

11. General

These terms are the entire agreement and are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with disputes subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (mandatory local law rights are unaffected). We may update these terms with 30 days’ notice by email; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If any clause is unenforceable, the rest stand. Questions: legal@justagents.co.
